Welcome to mynaturesimage.com by Andrew Geddes of London Ontario Canada

Truly, nature gives us an ongoing ever changing panorama of exciting views. And when caught through the eye of a camera we have the opportunity to pause time but for a second to have a closer look at its beauty. Many times I have been left in amazement of what I have just seen. For the most part I have tried to capture those times.

I do hope that you enjoy looking at these nature photographs as much as I did in taking them.

Feel free to browse through the site and if you have any comments, I would look forward to hearing from you in the “Contact” section. In fact I have added some brief information about me below as an introduction.

There is also a section on “tips,” these are ones that I have found useful especially in photographing nature. Through the course of the year I will be inserting new photographs.

As well check out the “Experiences” section, no doubt you will get a chuckle from them.

Enjoy

ABOUT ME

Nature’s Images

Nature has been a part of me since I was just a little boy. I was the one with the frogs in my pockets. A pet “Garter” snake that went to school with me while stretched around my neck, and as well and adopted baby squirrel that seemed to think that he could go everywhere with me.

From the family dog to feeding wild Foxes. From the lost budgie that decided to land on my head one day while walking home from school to close encounters with bears. I have and still do hold a fascination and a great respect for nature and animals.

So picture taking became one medium that allowed me to keep that a part of me as I have grown older. Pictures to me should always be able to tell a story, so when I photograph I try to put a story in every picture, one that when you look hard enough you can see, in doing so this allows you to feel a part of what I am seeing, the adrenaline, the excitement, the power the respect and yes at times even the fear.

There is a saying that says, “Pictures do not do the actual justice.” Well, that maybe true in some cases, but not here, my goal when I take pictures is to prove that phrase wrong so that when you view them you are right up close and personal with the fascinations and wonderments of Nature.
